GATORADE

For The Wind

Gatorade wanted to celebrate WNBA star Elena Delle Donne, but the real hero of her story was her sister, Lizzie. Born with cerebral palsy, Lizzie has been Elena’s quiet strength and greatest inspiration. It was Lizzie’s love for the wind that fueled Elena’s drive to play for the Windy City, and the force that pushed her to win championships.

Clio Sports / Gold / Short Film

Earned media: Adweek Ad of the Day | ESPN | Sports Illustrated | and Elena loved the film so much she brought it to her interview on Megyn Kelly Today.

No buzzer-beaters or last-minute heroics, this quiet sports story is powered by the wind and sisterhood

During the WNBA season, we also unveiled a wind-powered art installation at the Chicago Sky Arena, created by visionary artist Michael Murphy
